At MQ Hassan Solicitors, we offer comprehensive advice in our one hour structured consultations. During this time, an allocated advisor experienced in the field will take detailed instructions from you to ascertain all the necessary information and to best evaluate your case. The advisor will then be in a position to provide you with:

• Advice as to all the options available to you
• Advice as to the best option in your circumstances
• Advice as to the merits of any application you make
• Advice as to the likely outcome of the application

Our advisor will also discuss and agree a fixed fee with you at the initial consultation. We do not charge hourly rates and we can offer flexible payment plans. Therefore, you will know exactly how much you will be spending at the outset and will not encounter any ‘surprise’ costs.

Our initial consultation fee for all consultations booked during office hours (between 10.00 am and 7.30pm) is £150. There is no added VAT on this fee. For appointments booked out of hours or on weekends, we charge an additional fee of £25 (bringing the total consultation fee to £175). If consultations last significantly longer than one hour, a fixed fee of £25 may be imposed. A lawyer will warn you of this before the full one hour session is completed.

Online Consultations (consisting of Skype or email)

We offer consultations on Skype. There is a fee of £90 chargeable up to a maximum time of 45 minutes. We also offer email based consultations for a fee of £90 (up to an exchange of 6 emails). The fee must be paid in advance on our online payments page.

Deduction of consultation fees

Please note that consultation fees can be deducted from the fee agreed with you only where we are instructed within 7 days of the consultation.
